Christine Duncan



Christine is the former Chief Executive of Scottish Families Affected by Alcohol & Drugs. Previously, she ran her own consultancy company, which included working with third sector groups to develop funding strategies and marketing residential drug and alcohol programmes. Christine also has extensive experience of third sector management and has worked extensively in specialist, complex needs units in the USA.

Ray Jenkins

Ray has worked within the health and social care field since 1993 and is a former National Development Director of the UK’s largest provider of substance misuse treatment systems. A former member of the UKADCU advising on the implementation of Government’s Drug Strategy, he has extensive knowledge of workforce and recovery community development as the Chief Executive of Emerging Futures CIC.

Alex Russell

Therapeutic Lead

Alex has worked as a specialist addiction therapist with the Clinic since 1998 and is trained in Integrative Counselling and Realty Choice Theory (RCT). He moved into a managerial role leading on workforce and programme development in 2014. He was appointed as our Lead Therapist in May 2016.

Lorraine Leith



Lorraine was appointed to the clinical team as a Staff Nurse in 2002, she has extensive experience of working as a substance misuse specialist and was promoted to the position of Nursing Lead in March 2014. She is a highly experienced health care professional and has particular expertise in developing clinical governance, policy, registration and CPD frameworks.
